Join the eMobility Revolution! eCarTec Paris 2012, from April 3 to 5, 2012 to take place at the trade fair centre Porte de Versailles

- Will take place in parallel with the 3rd International Conference for Electric Mobility - Integrated test track for electric vehicles - Early bird arrangements, valid until July 31, 2011

The current Electric Vehicle Index (Evi) published by McKinsey is a clear proof of the fact that Germany and France are the leading countries in Europe in terms of electric mobility. This is a good reason for MunichExpo GmbH to organize eCarTec Paris 2012, the leading trade fair for electric mobility, which will be held for the third time in a row. Due to the great interest among exhibitors in 2011, eCarTec Paris 2012 will be held at the trade fair center Porte de Versailles for the first time. With a total of 6,000 square meters of exhibition space available to corporations from April 3 to 5, 2012, this event is a great opportunity for exhibitors to present products and future visions of electric mobility to a large audience. At the conference taking place in parallel with the trade fair, economic, scientific and political experts will discuss current developments and fields of application for electric mobility. Trade fair visitors can also take the opportunity to test electric vehicles at the integrated test track eCarLiveDrive. Exhibitors applying by July 31, 2011 will receive an early bird discount rate of 10%.

eCarTec Paris 2011: A perfect interplay of conference and exhibition

The great interest in the 2nd international eCarTec Paris Conference & Exhibition, which took place in the Hotel Pullmann Paris Rive Gauche on March 30 and 31, 2011, was proof of the promising future of the market for electric mobility. Around 150 conference participants attended the speeches delivered by renowned speakers, among them Frank Salzgeber from ESA European Space Agency, Michael Weltin from E.ON AG and Daniele Schillaci from Toyota France.

Over 30 exhibitors such as Siemens, Bal Seal, European Batteries, ESG, HaWi, Epyon or a South Korean joint stand presented themselves and their products on over 1,500 square meters of exhibition space. 300 visitors marveled at electric vehicles by Mitsubishi and Mini or the electric bus by B.E. Green and took the opportunity to test-drive e-scooters in real traffic situations. The event focused on new business models and new players, projects and regions, energy and infrastructure, storage – energy and fuel cells as well as on research highlights.
